CRP

The CRP was started by Sandatharaka Abeysinghe, who also serves as director. This can be positioned as a location for the promotion and preservation of representational art in Sri Lanka as well as a gathering spot for those who work in it. This also means that future generations will receive knowledge about the heritage and educational value associated with this wonderful subject, which was a blessing to Sri Lanka, especially during the colonial era.

Apart from this, the purpose of imparting the immense knowledge accumulated over the years to future generations and giving due appreciation to Sri Lankan representative artists like Gate Mudaliyar ACGS Amarasekara, David Paynter, and JDA Perera is special here. This affiliation's characteristic is that it unites a number of artists to advance as an artistic stream while exchanging pertinent information and expertise and participating in a range of organizational activities. And by preserving the roots related to the traditional classic art flow that is being suppressed by modernity, this will give due value to the artworks that are related to its heritage and preserve them.

Additionally, we are always open to collaboration and member recruitment. We believe it will greatly benefit us. As a result, if you're interested in working with us, please send us a portfolio of around ten of your most recent pieces as well as a 150-word essay outlining your thoughts on representational art.
