Born in 1994, Lives in Colombo, Sri LankaA common reality that impacts all artists is the contribution of their own experience to creative work. Born and raised in the Sri Lankan village of Ampitigoda in the Maturata region in the country's central mountains, Sandatharaka is an artist. Any of his paintings make that abundantly clear.
He specifically employs oil paints and watercolors in an experimental manner for his paintings. Through his practical work, he constantly experiments with different things in an effort to preserve the inherent qualities of the medium while emphasizing the aesthetic beauty that results from a painting's final finish.
